viewing problem

Hey, I have downloaded Shikar part 1 and try to watch it but it says that file doesn't know the fromate in which it can play. so , what should i do to watch that movie

Hi, like the posters b4 say, its with the codecs. Try zoomplayer (.com) they have tons of codec available for download at their site. Also divxplayer or the codecs. I have also found a pack called AVI codec pack wich works pretty well and I don't even have to use zoomplayer to view stuff cause I can just use window's media player.

Another option is another media player that plays a wide variety of files but right now I've forgotten the name and the programs is on my work PC so, let me know if you still have the problem to go check the name of that application. Both zoom, avi codec pack and the other app i mentioned are freeware.

Im using FFDShow, its a codec that can play almost anything.

you can view various files with Windows Media Player but I prefer BS Player
