How do companies such as tigerdirect get their products to where they can sell them for that cheap? I have had a dream of starting a awsome online store someday, I just don't know where they get their products from!

They become resellers as where they buy hundreds or maybe thousands of products from same company and they get them cheap. I mean companies like intel, amd, nvidia, ati, etc. are willing to put their prices very low if you are thinking of buying in bulk. And the more you're their reseller, the cheaper their products get overtime.
