When we visit any forum we seen that they display how many guest and registered user are online
admin can find registered user simply from their database
but
how to know admin that how many guest currently on forum ?

Based on IP address
each guest has its own IP
so admin can find him

but when user left the forum (close the browser or session expired)
then how to know that guest is left the forum because if we take care about IP address this only help us to when user visit the forum but not for left the forum
