French engineering software major Dassault Systemes - engaged in the business of 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd. (TCE) to leverage each company's core capabilities to deliver industry solution experiences to customers in key energy, process, utilities and construction sectors where Tata Consulting Engineers is already well established.

TCE will leverage Dassault Systemes' 3D Experience industry solutions to bring business value through combined business development and engineering consultancy services to customers in industries such as power (hydro & thermal, transmission & distribution) nuclear, construction, mining and minerals, infrastructure, steel and metals, chemical (oil & gas) and industrial equipment.

The very first combined effort will be to launch three solutions for energy, process and construction sectors including optimized plant construction, 3D Digital Plant and plant operation and safe plant.
