Try HDD recovering tools via bootable disks
the best i can suggest is to use "Knoppix live CD"
www.knoppper.net
make sure u have first boot device as CD
If knoppix recognises the HDD then u can format the HDD
and do a clean reinstall
but can i rescue the files on this hdd with this program ?Originally Posted by Guttu
btw.... for sata hdd, is it ok to do LLF with a tool that is not recommended by the maniufacturer ??
Its not a program but its full fledged Linux OS which works 4m CD
If the HDD is mounted properly u can copy the contents to another HDD or if u have a riter u can backup the data
I dont recommend u to use tool not recommended by manufacturer. It may further damage the HDD
