The household famed and people's favourite Sardarji, Jaspal Bhatti in an untoward accident left for heavenly abode...

Jaspal Bhatti, 57, passed away early morning today following a car accident while he was travelling Jalandar from Bhatinda for a film's promotional event. The veteran comedian was accompanied by his son Jasraj and the lead actress Surili Gautam of his upcoming film 'Power Cut' - both of them were severely injured.

Bhatti's cremation is scheduled to take place today evening.

Very popular for his comedy shows 'Flop Show' and 'Ulta Pulta', Jaspal Bhatti has also done several supporting roles in movies namely 'Aa Ab Laut Chale', 'Nalayak', 'Fanaa' and 'Mausam' among others.
