Default Dileep's quest for a National Award!

The first copy of Dileep’s Kathavaseshan directed by T.V.Chandran is ready. Dileep himself is producing and distributing the film, which he feels will get him some awards including a National Award!

Critics in Kerala have always dismissed Dileep as a mimicry artist turned slapstick comedy superstar who is no patch on the real actors like Mohanlal and Mammootty. This has bugged Manju Warrier, Dileep’s wife and former actress who egged her husband to make an off-beat film and make his critics eat crow.

Surprisingly, Dileep and Chandran hit off well and together they are working out a strategy to get the next National award. As a part of this campaign it becomes necessary that Kathavaseshan has a commercial release before December 31 to make it eligible for the award.

So Dileep has now pushed back his Rasikan to Christmas and is trying to release Kathavaseshan, which will clash with Mammootty’s Black and Mohanlal’s Mambazhakalam on November 12, Ramzan.

i don't think that got him a national award....

people still see dilip as a mimicry/comedy/ actor.

he has a long way to go to get a national award.
its been 10 years or more since dileep entered cinema, he's still seen as a comedy actor. and hasn't even have a best actors award in the state awards.

by the time mohanlal finished 10 yrs he got a national award for special jury's award for kireedam and a state award. he established himself as a versatile actor by that time.

my freind got a 82 in a chemistry test.
    dileep is like that.

another gal i know got a freaking 97, lal is like that.

    thats the difference between them.
