FTP no longer works

I've had my website http://dork.bizhat.com for quite a few months. and have neer had ftp problems until recently. I've been trying to upload a new version of my website and everytime I do it it (with absolute ftp) it gives me the error

File transfer terminated by server abnormally
426 Transfer aborted. Operation not permitted

I've also tried with other ftp programs and it always fails, what could be my problem?

My problem was that I didn't have any space left on my site. I thought that I did but then I realized that my co-owner had uploaded some stuff to a folder in the directory, so I just removed some no longer needed stuff and it got right back into it.

although I am having troubles doing mass uploads, like I have around 100 image files that make up my site, and i have to load them in like sets of 10 to get it to work
