Taxi fare in Kerala
Taximeter is mandatory for autorickshaws having taxi permit. The Taximeter has to get verified and stamped by Legal Metrology before putting into use. The certificate has to be kept in the vehicle.
The taximeter display the distance traveled, waiting time and the fare to be paid in Rupees. Many drivers are reluctant to use the meter during the trip. So always ask the driver about the destination taxi fare & the distance in advance.
