After the critically and commercially acclaimed 'Urumi', Santhosh Sivan has took a break and concentrated on his acting and cinematography assignments. He has acted in the lead in films like 'Makaramanju and cinematographed hit movies like 'Thuppaki'. Now the cinematographer has decided to get back to his directorial works with the movie titled as 'Ceylon'.

The movie , as the title suggests' will tell the life of youths who are left to suffer amidst the ethnic struggle that ravaged the country. The movie will not talk much about LTTE but will be more an emotional affair. With music from Vishaal Chandrasekhar, Santhosh will be calling the shots for 'Ceylon' very soon.
