Of late tinsel town has started looking forward to the new age Rekha that is Sonam Kapoor.

Shashanka Ghosh is going to direct the beautiful fashionista in the remake of Rekha's hit classic 'Khubsoorat', which will be produced by Anil Kapoor.

While this is no new news, latest update on the movie front is that the makers are keen to make the remake on a very large scale, with a bigger-than-life image.

Talks are that the new 'Khubsoorat' is being planned to shoot in a palace and so the production team is hunting for that perfect royal mansion in the locales of Rajasthan.

The original Hrishikesh Mukherji's family comedy was filmed in an old bungalow, but now going by the contemporary taste the makers want to go the lavish way.

Hmmm we wonder, will it be worth it? Only the film's release will say...
