The amazing Moray terraces, dating back from the Inca period, are a masterpiece with a sophisticated and advanced irrigation system and the possibility to create different climatic conditions enabling to grow different types of crops. According to several sources, Moray might have been an experimental agricultural station where the Incas might have grown more than 250 species.
