Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities Limited has invited applications from economically backward students of Forward Communities for financial assistance for taking up coaching for Medical Engineering Entrance Examinations and for examinations conducted by Banks/PSC/UPSC.
Applicant should belong to a forward community in the state of Kerala. Annual family income of Guardian/parents from all sources should be below the Income Tax limits. Applicants have the freedom to identify standard coaching institutes for the coaching. However, the final decision on the standard of the Coaching Centre would rest with the Corporation. Under the scheme for assistance for Coaching for Engineering/Medical Entrance Examinations, 500 eligible applicants will receive assistance up to Rs.15000.
Applicants seeking assistance for Coaching for Engineering/Medical Entrance Examinations, should be studying for Plus Two/Equivalent course and should have scored at least 50 percent marks in SSLC/Equivalent Examination. Those who have completed Plus Two/equivalent course are also eligible subject to the condition that two years have not elapsed since they passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination.

Under the scheme for assistance for Coaching for Competitive examinations conducted by Banks/PSC/UPSC, 500 eligible applicants will receive assistance up to Rs.5000/-. Applicant should have the basic qualification fixed for applying for the post advertised for which he/she intends to go for coaching.



Applications as per the format along with attested copies of the front page of SSLC/equivalent, income certificate from revenue officials, marks list of SSLC examination/ qualifying examination, front page of the pass book issued by the bank in which the applicant has an account, Adhar card along with Caste Certificate and Original fee receipt with the recommendations of the Head of the Institution/College where the applicant is undergoing coaching, should reach Managing Director, Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities, TC No 9/746, Kuleena, L2, Jawahar Nagar, Kawdiar (PO), Thiruvananthapuram-695003 latest by 25th October, 2013.
