PHPADMIN not wokking??

I just setup a DB today, and wondering how to login??

I saw all the earlier posts about this, but can't seem to make it work..

Try)))) to create another DB. you entered fills in mysql management by yourself. mybe your login/pass incorrect?

how could I set up another DB? on my managment panel, I can't seem to find anything to create a DB?? I get to the login page, and I try logging in with my user + pass that is in the mysql management, and it does not work. I get a access denied??

And why can't I access an external DB? is that by design??

I created a freesql db, and i get a "Can't connect" error, but I can connect fine with the same script from my server??

if you created a db you have to use your dbname as the username and the password you chose and not your ftp password.

Yes..yes i know that, and that is what I tired to input...I still get a access is denied. I think it is a server side problem as I saw some error when creating the DB. I made my DB name "kastu.bizhat.com", and I received some error regarding the ".", but didn't pay any attention to it.

Any ideas??

By the way, I'm in 10th Grade/Standard, and I saw your location is South Africa. What a coincedence, that I am reading the book "Cry. The Beloved Country." by Alan Paton right now when I am typing this message. I'm sure you've heard of it? Interesting book...

Check for SSI errors. I think error there.. But, actually I think you have some errors with your scripts. PhpMyAdmin is working for me..

I tried phpmyadmin again to see if anything had changed. Nope.. here's what happens.

1. I go to http://free.bizhat.com/phpmyadmin

2. then I get a login dialog..here I put in my DB user name provided to me in the MYSQL management panel.

3. I type in the password--also the as the one given to me in the MYSQL control panel.

4. I click OK, but I get the same login dialog again.

5. After the 3rd attempt, I get a "Wrong user name/password. Access denied" error.

I am 100% I have done nothing wrong on my side, and followed directions flawlessly. If you see any mistake, please reply to this post of my mistake.

Another question: Is external databases supported?? I tried a freesql account, and I am able to use it without problem from my Apache 2 server with PHP 5 and PEAR 5. However, the same connect script dies with a "Can't connect to the database" error. Reply stating if this is or not supported
