Member Cannot Post, Question

I'm new to all of this and have a question.

I have one member who is not able to post in the forums. They can sign in, edit profile, and send a PM but cannot post in the topics/threads. They said when they hit submit they get the preview mode and the posting won't go through. Any ideas what is causing this?

I do remember when they registered they said they could not read the confirmation code (got the red x) but the email came through to activate the account and the account was activated okay. Has this got something to do with it? How do I fix it?

I'm not sure why the forum support moderators don't answer these posts quicker, but I might be able to have you look at something. Go to your Admin Panel and then to 'Group Admin' then to 'Permissions' then to 'Look up Group' button, then to the complete list of names of all your members in that group. At the very end of that list see if your new member's name is under 'Pending'.

If it is, I'm having the same problem. I made a separate thread on it and got no reply yet.

Okay...we figured my problem out. We had two email addresses and the new member had sent it to the one that I could not get. The guy that had the other email address finally saw it after being in there four days. He ok'd it and now that name is off pending and that new member can now post.

The person that wrote the notes in the Admin Panel was so vague on directions, that they should be proud of this support forum with hundreds and hundreds of questions on the same problems.

This is what should be said under the Group Admin Permissions Control section:

"Note: To move new members from 'Pending' you must approve their email application.

So simple IMHO.
