New User needs Help please!

I am the ADMIN of a few sites that use the PHPBB software.

I am trying to figure out how to add a button that will enable users to "view First Unread Post" in the topics. It would be much easier than to have to scroll through all the posts to try to find the ones you have not read yet.

Also, is there a way that I can send a blanket e-mail to all members at once? The version of the PHPBB software we seem to be using seems VERY limited compared to other forums I ADMIN.

I don't see any place to configure attachements settings, ways to have groups so you can address PM's faster from a list, etc.
