where and when to sky

i am planing to go skying this winter,
it will be my first time in my 35 years.
every one whi has done that seem to get hooked on it.

i wish it will happen to me too.

so far my direction is to go to a club med in france in late februar
or beging of march.

i wish you could give me some suggestions...
dont forget that im a begginer, and i have a week for that
and 2000$ badget.
