Foods Baby Should Not Eat
* Avoid giving too sugary or sweetened sweets to your baby. Avoid food items like cookies, chocolate and other sweets.
* Too much salt is also not good for him. Do not season his food with table salt.
* Do not feed egg to your child before he is one year old, as you may run into the risk of developing an allergy.
* Do not feed the young baby with cow’s or goat’s milk, as it is low on nutrient content. Breast milk is the best for the new born.
* Avoid giving honey to your child before he is one, as it may contain spores causing botulism poisoning in infants.
* Give only a specified amount of fluid to your baby, as it may dilute the nutrients present in breast milk.
* Do not give hard solid foods to your baby, as it may cause choking. For instance, raw vegetables such as carrot and celery sticks, grapes, cherries, berries, raisins, hot-dog or other meat chunks, nuts such as peanuts, almonds, and cashews, popcorn, hard candy or suckers.
* Avoid foods which have chances of causing an allergic reaction, such as chocolate, beans, corn, nuts, peanut butter, egg whites, seafood, citrus fruits and juices.
