KOCHI: Veteran Actor, Director and Producer Madhu has been selected for the Life time achievement award instituted by P Bhaskaran Foundation.

Ranjit, who directed 'Thirakatha' has been selected for the best Director award for 2008.

The awards, instituted in memory of late lyricist P Bhaskaran, who penned several immortal melodies, would be presented on Feb 25 at a function at Kodungallor, his home town.

The jury, comprising Sreekumaran Thampy, John Paul and Ambily, selected the award winners, a foundation press release said.
