Tips for the interview
The preparation work comes before the interview. Once you are prepared for the interview, the most important thing is to be calm and to keep your cool during the interview. Other things during the interview are :
1. Wear a smile on your face (always).
2. Be polite.
3. Answer questions to your knowledge, that is, tell only what you know. If you do not know the answer to a question, say so politely.
4. Always speak the truth about yourself.
5. Give detailed answers with examples if possible. Never answer in a single sentence. But stick to the point. Speak only what is relevant.
6. If the HR asks you to sing or to dance (sometimes they do), do not hesitate, do it immediately.
7. It always helps to be a bit humorous.
8. Stay positive and speak out the positiveness in you. But do not pretend to be a paragon.
9. The first question is always "Tell me about yourself". Be prepared for that.
Relax yourself and be confident.
Ensure you vend your self; don’t be frightened to shove your strong points.
Expect that you will be asked some questions that you never heard or read anywhere.
Never think that Interviews are something to fear, they are a medium to excel and prove your abilities.
Write down some of your best points and ensure you can use them at the time of interview.
Make use of some examples while answering the questions. If you have applicable circumstances you can invite such situations.
Avoid telling lies in the interview, mainly recruiters will spot this. So be careful.
Ensure that you have collected some information about the company, as it gives the interviewer the impression that you are enthusiastic and very much interested in this company
Think about conducting a mock interview before attending the real interview. If you feel, you lack confidence and practice this mock interview will help you to a certain extend. Here you will get a chance to analyze yourself; you can improve your performance wherever you feel wrong.
Prepare some questions to ask at the time of interview. Try to ask some relevant questions .Don’t ask too many questions that irritate the interviewer.
