Nikkon D80 vs D3

I was very excited that my friend lent me his D3 for a week, comparing to my D80, the colours, depth, speed, was way better. But I did not like it so much, because I am not a professional photographer, its is quite useless putting such a high class camera in my hand, also, the D3 is like 4 times the weight of the D80 im used to, traveling with the D3 would be very painful for me.
