One of the highlights of Ayngaran International’s SP Jananathan directed Jayam Ravi’s big budget extravaganza Peranmai is it’s spellbinding action scenes.
Says director SP Jananathan: “One of the major plus points of Peranmai is going to be its spectacular action scenes done by Jayam Ravi and the foreign actors Rolland Kikinger and Siso. They are very realistic fight scenes, you won’t find any exaggeration like flying in the air or Ravi taking on a dozen guys at the same time.”
Jananathan and his stunt master Minnale Miachel have done a daringly different type of action scene which is very believable.
There are five fights in the film; one of them is between Ravi and Siso a martial arts expert from LA. The other is the climax fight between Rolland Kickinger and the hero, a fist to fist combat inside the forest.
“It is real top class action scenes, which will make the audience really tense as the emphasis is to make it look real on screen. Hats off to Jayam Ravi, the boy took months of practice and hard work to do these dangerous action scenes. To give it that toned look to his body he did not take rice for a year during the shoot of the film, concludes Jananathan.”
