Indian movies but no Satyajit Ray !?!?!?

I did a global search on this site for Satyajit Ray
but came up, to my utmost surprise, with no results!!!

Can someone explain this to me!?

u touched my senti place,

ray my goodness he is god,he is a magician,
he is too good man,

u..... haven't got anething bcoz,he had made his films in Bengali.

and most of the people haven't seen his masterpiece shatranj ke khiladi.

had he made his films in english or had he written his stories in english
he wud hve certainly got the oscar much earlier and nobel prize respectively.
