Following the superheroes of Malayalam cinema, supporting actors have also made it a habit to venture into a double role whenever they get a chance. Recently Suraj Venjaramoodu has done it in ‘Duplicate’, while Salim Kumar will be donning one in ‘Happy Husbands’.
Supporting actor Vijayaraghavan, who had earlier been in a double role in Vinayan's ‘Independence’, will one again appear in a double in the new movie ‘Thanthonny’. This movie directed by debutante George Varghese will feature the two stages of these double roles. And so Vijayaraghavan will be made to appear in four different getups for a movie, for the first time in his 24 year long filmi career.
The shoot of ‘Thanthonny’ is fast progressing at Kochy. The movie will be the first release of Prithviraj in the New Year.
