After directing a forty odd movies in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, director Shaji Kailas is finally turning to try a hand in the writing department. The director who had made big hits with scriptwriters like Renjith and Renji Panikkar, was not into good scripts in the recent times which made him to create an array of flops. And so, he himself will write the scripts for a new movie, a sequel to the one which elevated him to the status of a super director.

Yes, Shaji Kailas will be scripting the third part of his big hit ‘Commissioner’ which was released in the early nineties. The movie will feature Suresh Gopi, once again as an IPS officer.

The second part of ‘Commissioner’ was directed and scripted by Renji Panikkar who made it in the title ‘Bharath Chandran I P S’.
