Director B.Unnikrishnan who is ready with his new film Thriller has finally confessed on why he dumped Poonam Kaur from the film after shooting a few scenes.

Remember that Poonam who was signed up by the director was later replaced by Kannada actress Catherine.

Says Unnikrishnan: "Poonam's poor performance disappointed us. Her dialogue delivery and performance was very weak. She was not willing to learn and proved to be a pretty face who just couldn't act".

He added that after two days of shoot, Poonam was asked to pack her bags and leave. He added: "We were on the look-out for a new face to work out the mystery of character. And the search ended up in Catherine."
