Nokia has been well known for creating mobile phones that are attractive to a large audience and the Nokia 2690 is no different as it features an MP3 player and microSD expansion of up to 8GB to fit most of your music collection. Also included is an FM Radio and the phone comes with a standard 3.5mm audio jack which is compatible with most headsets.

The TFT display measures 1.8″ and renders 128 x 160 pixels with VGA resolution. The camera is pretty weak in that it is only 0.3 megapixels and has a very simple video capture support system. The phone does come with Bluetooth and has a web browser with email client to make up for what the camera lacks.

Physically the phone is fairly small weighing in at only 81g and measuring 108mm x 46mm x 14mm. The talktime of the phone is up to 4.5 hours and up to 13 days of standby time. The Nokia 2690 is a quad-band phone running on GSM and has the popular Series 40 interface that many people are already very familiar with.

The price of the Nokia 2690 is only €54.00 which is a very good price for what you get in return. It represents a very good value for the money that is invested. Also you can choose from four different colours which include Hot Pink, Blue, Graphite, and White Silver.
