I have use Netfirms for a while, but they are not ftp hosts. They just have 1 GB monthly transfer. And they will delete your files (not contents) monthly, so you have to upload your files monthly, they don't have file size limits on ftp, I use it to share the IT certifications Practice Exams with my friends as well as Software, I use to upload Win XP (bootable) n there to share with my friends, you might try it. But keep in mind that your files will be deleted monthly...I found it's better than anyother free sites, since other free sites are limited on file size...
