Arya was tied up with Bala’s Avan Ivan. Now that the film has been wrapped up and the post production work is on, Arya is free to concentrate in Vettai. Lingusamy will direct this bilingual, which will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. While Arya plays the lead role in the Tamil version, Mahesh Babu will don the greasepaint for the Telugu version.
Dayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies will produce Vettai and it is touted to be a big budget film.
