KOCHI: ‘City of God’ directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, that was expected to release this week, hasn’t been able to make it to the theaters.

The film that stars Prithviraj with brother Indrajith has been censored, but hasn’t been able to grace the screens. Financial trouble is rumoured to be behind the delay. ‘City of God’ might have to face some tough weather due to the postponement in release, since next week would see a biggie releasing - Joshey’s ‘Christian Brothers’, that is expected to take a huge opening.

Prithviraj’s home production ‘Urumi’ would also make it to the theaters in the last week of March. ‘City of God’ is said to be a masala flick with all the ingredients of stunts and songs. The producers of the movie haven’t specified a release date as yet.
