Her first flop in Tamil. "Bala" is an action oriented love story. How the hero faces hurdles in his love life is the basis of the film. The heroine had nothing to do much in this film other than some song sequences. The fate of this film was much disappointing to Meera. What she gained from this film was just some ill reputation from her mallufans that she acted some what glamorously. The reference is made to a particular song sequence. But actually this particular song was not too glamorous when compared with other Tamil films and heroines. The glamour actually appeared due to the method it was shot. And she did never show much of her skin even while she does have some real GLAMOUR.
