CHENNAI: Popular south-Indian actress Sujatha died here today. She was 59. She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films.

Some of her Malayalam films include Achani, Jalotsavam, Brashttu, Mayookham, Oru Vilippadu Akale, Chandrolsavam etc.

She is a native of Maradu in Ernakulam
