Kareena refuses to do an item number

In the age of ‘Munni’ and ‘Sheila’ where all leading ladies are doing item numbers to add much more glamour to there on screen character, just like Mallika did in ‘Double Dhamaal’ with ‘Jalebi Bai’, Kareena Kapoor has reportedly ditched Karan Johar for doing one in his much awaited flick ‘Agneepath’ that stars Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra.

Bebo did an item number in Farhan Akhtar’s remake of Don which received mixed response and this probably is one reason of her refusing the song. Second reason could be the presence of her arch rival Priyanka in the film that made her refuse her close buddy Karan Johar.

The third reason could also be that Bebo is different and does not really require item numbers to be on top. She is currently the No. 1 actress in the industry and rules millions heart so refusing an item song would not much harm her career.

While rumours suggested that Bebo might be gyrating to an item number in the Hrithik-Priyanka starrer, the truth is that the actress will not be a part of the film, in any way.
The song in question would have been a part of a sequence that takes place in the villain Kancha Cheena’s (played by Sanjay Dutt) den. And since the film is a remake of the classic 70s, the villain’s den needs to have a Helen.
Kareena has earlier also done a song of Helen before in the movie Don..
