Website error

I am trying to get my website up and running, and now that I have my files uploaded, when I try to see what it looks like, it gives me the error: 404 Error: Page not found

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? :shock:

It depends if your trying out PHP.
HTML isn't to easy to mess up.

Make sure you have a

Code:

<html>
<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

If your trying PHP

You need to ask the admin to activate it for you.
And make sure you have

Code:

<?php
echo "and other stuff in the middle."
?>

All of that stuff is included in the code. It can have other stuff in there, right?

Yea it can.

But it depends if the scripts and codes are right.
like links are description
New line

<marquee></marquee> Moving text
<tr><td></td><tr>
That kind of stuff need to be correct.

What is your file name? Maybe you save the name like content.html. If you don't want it to be your index page, you can view it at http://lilbudda.bizhat.com/filename.html. :P Hope this helps.
