Producer MS Reddy passes away
Popular writer, director and producer MS Reddy (Mallemala) died at his Filmnagar residence here on Sunday following prolonged illness. He was 86.
He created a flutter recently by publishing his autobiography “ Ide Na Katha” in which he made some remarks that irked the biggies of Tollywood.
His writing skills were lauded by the legendary Viswanatha Satyanarayana and Reddy, whose pen is Mallemala, wrote some good songs in films
His acting as a honest Chief Minister in Ankusham has created a special space for him in the industry.
Born in Nellore in 1925, Reddy has produced film under his Kaumidi Art Pictures. Some of the notable films include Sri Krishna Vijayam, Kodenagu, Mutyala Pallaki and Palanati Simham. (INN)
