mpg allowed,not mp3?

Hi,
we just signed up with bizhat.com,as a musicband we want
to get our music online...only streaming! This means people
can just listen to it, NOT downloading it...
now,only mp3 is technicaly allowed to stream,wav or mpeg
just doesn't work this way.
So in order to protect our music,and also to fulfill bizhad rules
(no downloading),we have to stick to streaming,means mp3.
While uploading we noticed the mp3 (filesize under 2 Mb)
are rejected.
How come that mp3 is rejected.while mpeg (or mp2) not

Well bizhat.com only allows up to 2 MB sizes and thats it, I don't know much about streaming but I know people use Winamp and win media player for this kind of stuff.
Just give info for them and such in your site and let them stream from your IP / PC and stuff.. Thats all I know about streaming.

If you need some file stroage space like 50 MB no size limit you can go to http://hosting.cfe-clan.com and check some stuff out.

thank you for your reply.

however our mp3's are under 2 Mb, we saw this
restriction, and have no problem with that...so
we looked very closy if they are under this limit.

However, still we see that after a little while they
are rejected...this means, they DO upload, but then
dissapear...can be within 2 sec,can take 1h...
while no voilation what so ever occurs...like we said
it only will be streaming,(= the same way that you listen
to radio online,you can hear the music,but you can not
download it..to give you a better idea about streaming music.)
On our site this means : if people push a button, the
music starts to play.
Now, in case of for example winamp,
then the music needs first to be downloaded ( you know
that grey box popping up asking you to save the file or
download it),and this we like to avoid in order to keep our
music rights save.

Is there a solution?

Well your going to have to talk to the admins about streaming because we never had to encounter this before.

Well you can upload stuff and embed stuff from other places I guess thats what your trying to do?

Maybe the admins think that your MP3's are warez or something.
I dunno your going to have to talk to the admins about this stuff.

Hi,

Well the mp3 are not on other places, in order to
make them work (stream),they have to be uploaded
in the same folder where the index.html file is...
so every mp3 we've got are on bizhat.com, and
therefor also easy to check by bizhat.

Warez? hmmm... i realy don't think that this will be
the reason why they rejected it...as they stated that
mp2/mp3 are accepted, but under 2Mb...
So we do obey their rules...

Now,you pointed something new to us (we are only
2 days registered): talking to the Administrator...
so..euhhh?....who is he, and where can we find him?

I'm here alot giving help to alot of people and the admins are nice people are round.

You can PM Nokia (Admin) or admin (Admin)
Nokia is the best person to get responses from.
When ever I pm admin I don't get a reply.

So its best to talk to Nokia and he is a nice person to get to know.
