There is no need to edit or upload any sort of . server file extentions.

.htaccess and .ftpquota are forbiden by Bizhat.com team.
Can cause bad / Server hackage.

ok, i will have to use my server for the private files, or is there any other way that i cna restrict acess to a directory?

Restricting access to a directory you can add to your pages a java script so people will have to get a password and stuff to get in.

Well maybe you can ask admin to do that for you.
I'm sure he will help you to your needs.
