Mod:Website Down! Stop freaking out. merging related threads

okay. as we all know, our dedicated server is down at the moment. I am not really sure what's the reason behind this. Yesterday, the admin seemed to ran into some problems while creating a user account. He was getting error from both apache and cpanel. in my opinion, they are the culprit for our server's downtime. This source is coming from our blog at http://bizhat.blogspot.com since our server is down, other stuff related to the machine will be unaccurate if u think about it.

I will start deleting all the other relative post and put them here.

I just want to know what is going on as i see other people are having similar problems. I am getting told this on my site at the moment:


Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:

[code=GATEWAY_TIMEOUT] A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
Please contact the administrator.

A couple days ago i couldnt access my site either.

What is the reason for this?

I replied to the person who had the two images in his / her post Sent to me in a PM. I sent back information that the server is down and all files are there its just the server is offline.

The Admins are working hard to keep your stuff safe and getting it back online.

I would suspect that the server is under a DoS attack (Denial of Service) but those are easy to restrict access to.

Anyway don't worry these attacks normally are finished within a day or so.
So Don't worry.
The admins will probably send more info on what happened and see if any files are missing.
