I just did a website for a client, and I dont normally do websites for clients. I don't want the responsibility of webmaster, so have arranged to give him a zip with all the details so if I am still available, I can do some maintenance otherwise anyone can login and manage the domain and stuff.

So part of the arrangement was to set him up with free hosting, and I have just found bizhat.com's services. It sounds perfect - no annoying ads and FTP access.

I wrote a book this year that teaches musicians how to use their PC as a recording machine, from making your own cables to how sound works and FX. MIDI, . . . all that.

I've just been researching OOP and PHP so I am moving into phase 1: the PDC.

ETA: January 2006. I hope to have my fully functional complete website working by then with all the features I have on my wishlist. I still need to learn the syntax and structure of JavaScript, so I can design my CMS interface for new tutorials and member home pages.
