    I'm sorry to be a bit ask this, but isn't this question a couple years too late?

    I mean the movies had great effects and stuff. But it was a while ago, I barely remember the movie.

    yeah, are you serious? It is not a new movie anymore. I think you can go check out the complete DVD set of these movies. It has 9 DVDs in it. You will also find out more of the Matrix. How they started and especially they also include the animations too. You will have a totally different experience when you watch them all. Hope it helps....

    same here, I only like the first movie.
    The second one I thought was dumb and was only made so they could set up a thrid movie making a trilogy.
    Third movie was just cool eye candy untill every one died which sucked
